About

Madeline Pennebaker M.S., CCC-SLP, CALP is a licensed speech-language pathologist and certified reading specialist with expertise in language intervention and in Orton-Gillingham (OG) -based reading instruction.Madeline graduated from Tufts University in 2013 with an undergraduate degree in Child Development, then earned her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at MGH Institute of Health Professions. She has over twelve years of experience working with individuals, aiding with reading, language comprehension, verbal expression, writing, and executive functioning.Madeline enjoys watching YouTube videos about how to make tiny objects, and being bossed around by her three pets.

Services & Fees

Madeline offers speech-language intervention, literacy remediation, and executive function coaching in person and virtually for individuals over the age of five.SPEECH & LANGUAGE INTERVENTION: Madeline is an "out of network" provider for speech-language intervention. She will not bill your insurance company. Itemized statements ("Superbills") are provided following all evaluations and direct therapy sessions. These statements can be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement. Please reach out to your insurance company for any questions you may have about their reimbursement process for "out-of-network" claims.LITERACY REMEDIATION & EXECUTIVE FUNCTION COACHING: Orton-Gillingham, science-based writing instruction, and executive function coaching are not deemed "medically necessary" by insurance companies and Superbills cannot be provided for insurance reimbursement. An individual with a diagnosed disability that impacts literacy and/or executive functioning may be able to use flexible spending account (FSA) money to pay for sessions as a medical expense. Sessions may also count as a medical expense for tax purposes. Please reach out to your insurance company and/or a tax professional to talk about the specifics of your situation.
